Fresh Frames is a curated program of animated shorts bringing together films created by teenagers from Romania and Moldova. The program is presented by The Animation Incubator, in collaboration with the Animest International Animation Film Festival. This section highlights the fresh voices and perspectives of a new generation of animators, ready to establish the new wave of Romanian animation.

The films in Fresh Frames have been selected by the Teen Jury from the previous Animest edition. This section primarily features animations created during a variety of online and offline workshops hosted by The Animation Incubator. It includes both collaborative and independent productions by members of the community.
