Each edition of Animation Lab is guided by animator and mentor Paul Mureșan, who leads the weekly sessions focused on key stages of the animation process. These sessions are interleaved with co-working meetings, where participants can work on their projects in a supportive, community-driven environment and receive feedback from each other.

Across past editions, participants have explored character design, backgrounds, animatics, and even posters and promotional materials for their animation films.

Animation Lab takes place online, making it accessible to teenagers regardless of location. There is no selection process — everyone is welcome to join — but registration is required. The program usually runs during the summer, with registration opening in June.
