mail Online Workshop: 25 April, 11:00 AM

Curious how films get selected at festivals? Do you know what makes a film good? Is there even a ,,best film”? Why is a prize important? What is the responsibility of a jury?

This workshop will walk you through everything, from the basics of film analysis to making thoughtful, confident decisions as part of a jury, in a community where there’s no such thing as a stupid question.

You’ll explore how to look at films from both artistic and thematic angles, sharpen your critical thinking, and understand what it really means to be on a jury.

The workshop will be led by the Animest Festival Teen Jury mentor, Alexis Hunot (FR). Alexis is a film critic and curator, founder of the Paris International Animation Film Festival, and a lecturer at several international animation universities.

Deadline to sign up: 23 April

The workshop is open to all Incubator community members and alumni. To participate, join our community here.
