Summer School

The Animation Incubator Summer School is a week-long animation camp and intensive workshop for teenagers. Each edition brings together 10 selected participants who live and work together for one week, guided by professional mentors.

During the Summer School, participants learn the full animation production process by working as a studio — from concept and story development to animation, sound, and final delivery.

The result is a collaborative animated film, created by the group and later distributed internationally through festivals, screenings, and partner initiatives.

Participation is free, with accommodation, meals, and equipment provided by us. A selection process is in place, usually based on a short application task and a portfolio.

The Summer School takes place in July. Open calls are typically announced in late May or early June.

You can explore animations produced in previous editions on Our Productions page.

Past participants have seen their films selected at international festivals, won awards, and gone on to access further opportunities in animation, film, and creative education as a result of their participation.
